Fish the Naches all morning and drift the Yakima in the afternoon all for just $400 per boat (two people).
Picture standing knee deep in a classic fly fishing river the riffles, runs, and pools following one after another. A well-made cast can often place your fly to holding lies on the far bank. The Naches River is just such a place.
Flowing through a valley of sagebrush and Ponderosa pine this little river is just the place to learn the basics of fly-fishing. The surroundings are beautiful and the cutthrought and rainbow trout, although not as large as those found in the Yakima River, are amiable. A well-presented fly will often bring a slashing rise, and the beginner can quickly learn just how to make this happen. We will teach you the basics of fly casting, line control, fly presentation, reading the water, and river entomology. We can also discuss fly fishing equipment including rods, reels, lines, leaders, wet and dry flies or anything that you are unfamiliar with.
So if you would like to spend a day learning to fly fish on a beautiful little river that sees very few fishermen during the year, please contact us. The rate for a hands on wading trip on the Naches River starts at $250 per individual.
