Randal Sumner was born in Yakima, Washington. After receiving his MFA from Portland State University, Randal moved back to Yakima and spent the next 21 years working for the Pennzoil company. Randal has been fly fishing the Yakima River for 30 years and, for the last 15 years, has averaged three days a week, year-round. Randal knows his "home waters" very well.                       When he is not on the water Randal can be found painting in his Yakima studio, his work is in many private collections in the United States and Japan.   www.randalsumnerart.com
